Got a call from this guy and he said he was from a company called USA Finance and I was approved for a $35K loan on a car... I knew it was a scam... I just hung up.. He had an Indian accent.

The phone call is made from a payphone (my Vonage box listed it as such) and the guy/woman was calling about grants I might be entitled to! After calling the number back, a recorded message said it was disconnected! How come other calls from this number were about a computer virus but the one I got was for a grant? This should be a tipoff that the person is making up a reason to call and provide some sort of unknown scam!

I am from the Netherlands. A woman with an asian accent called me today with the message that their was something wrong with my Windows. She became angry when I said I was not interested.

I received this call a couple times - the first time I told him I lives way out in the boonies and do not even have electricity so how could I run a computer - then I told him even when I was living in civilization I only used apple products and would never put anything microsoft on my computer. He kept to his story and I asked where, 200 miles from the nearest electrical outlet and internet hook up he figured I could have a computer sending messages. He still persisted and I told him to take his scam and shove it where the sun don't shine. Now they have called again today - to bad I missed the call, oh well - the police will be given a heads up on this one.

These idiotic morons making robotic calls from 'CALL CENTERS' - mostly indians..they all usewestern names and keep talking nonsense...though hardly can understand..just making calls - not result oriented,being scams.sick of them and maybe we can deport these idiots to the 'mars' with no way to return.....

I just got a call from these people looking for a J. Luther. Accent speaking fellow.

They called me in Deep River and it got quite nasty after I called him a crook. He said I might as well throw out my computer because he was going to turn it into junk. I think his mother didn't love him.

Got lots of calls from these same people. You can barely understand them and they have terrible connections. You can hear lots of background noise and they will say hello, hello, hello over and over to my answering machine. Caller ID might say " phone booth" or 217-398-9755champaurbn, IL or a fake NY address. For all the time and effort they put into this they'd be better off getting a real job.
