Exact same thing happened to me.. December 6th and 7th same person.. I swear I have no brain, but now I am out $7, 900.00.. its now being investigated by the fraud dept. I may or not be able to get it back and if I don't I am screwed. I am on SS and housing.. and being on housing if you get evicted for what ever means, I believe you can risk losing your housing voucher. Lesson leaned now the hard way.
Elderly father got a call from a different number “geek squad” telling him they wanted to give him $299 due to not using the service purchased 12 years ago. Gave the above number to him to have his daughter call since he didn’t know how to do what she asked him to do with his computer- beware!! What senior living on social security doesn’t want $299 BACK. These people are awful.

The person called to verify employment of someone, but I didn't recognize the person's name. The caller had an accent, and I couldn't understand them. I didn't call back to let them know they had reached a wrong number.

Unsolicited call. Wanted me to complete my "voter profile." I've voted from this address for over 20 years.
It happened to me they got into my computer and got all bank info they took over $4000. from me left me with nothing. Don't trust anyone this was a setup.
