You all are lucky, my phone call from this number was obscene. I was getting calls from them all day and I finally answered and a man answered and was asking obscene questions.
Recieved a call from this number didn't answer as i'm at work called it back from a different line and guess what this number is disconnected. I'm sick of these numbers calling me i get 4-5 calls a day on my cell phone
Have received two calls this morning from this number. Do not answer. Voicemail was no sound. Will just keep ignoring it. Phone does not block numbers.
Just got a call from this number, the caller was foreign for sure and just like others reported she offered me a $7000 grant from the U.S. Government. I asked her the name of her company and she said nothing, I said "Hello!" and she said "hi, yes I was calling today..." and then repeated her speech about the grant. I stated I felt like this was a scam and to stop calling me, she started speaking Spanish to someone else and then put me on hold, I hung up.
They as well as other scammers have called me too! I let them talk for a few seconds & then I stop them. I say their name & immediately let them know the call is being recorded & have them acknowledge that fact. Then I ask that my number be removed from their database. Then say this......... Recently the Courts have allowed suits for this types of calls... the "Penalties for failing to comply with TCPA (Telephone Consumer Protection Act) regulations remain unchanged. It's $500 for every unsolicited call or text message, $1,500 if the telemarketer "willfully or knowingly" sends it after the consumer opts out. The new rules should only add to an already burgeoning number of lawsuits.You wouldn't believe how fast the calls STOP!!!
Seriously, same thing...it was a lady, possibly mexican and she told me I received a government grant up to 7G but she told me to call this other # and that mexican guy told me that I need a deposit of 310 bucks...wtf seriously, do they think I'm that dumb to not be able to tell that this is a dumb a*s scam? Telling me to call them back when I have the money...You're right! f*ck off :)
