I got a call from this number, and as with others I've seen on this site, the man was foreign (possibly Mexican), and I had recently put an ad in the newspaper for puppies I had for sale. He had said he wanted a puppy, and asked if I had puppies for sale. I told him they were sold and he hung up. The call made me very suspicious, so I Googled the number and ended up here. I would hate to know what they are doing with the animals if, in fact, anyone has actually sold them one, or if they are even actually intereseted in purchasing them.

Wow ... I got phone calls from this number too! SCARY!!!Again, I have an ad for puppies like others - I also got phone calls from other numbers - 222-222-2231 and 2248!!

I received 2 calls from this number this morning. I just tried to call it back and it is a Verizon phone number that has been disconnected. I found another site about reporting phone calls like this one but it gave a location of where the number and call came from it was from Mauritania. I googled it and it is a foreign country so who ever is using this number is definetly a SCAMMER.

I've a call too,"Mexican" lady stated that she's calling me from US Government Washington DC..) it's not the first call a received from scammers so just tell them f*ck off..)

I have received this # 222 222-2245 3 times in one day I never answer them as I have no idea who they .

I received a call from this number stating there is a grant of some $7000.00 I am eligible for. The accent was Mid-Eastern or maybe Philippine or even Hispanic. It gave instructions to call another number to call and give some info given to me to receive the grant.I believe this is a scam. I hope no one falls for the offer made in these phone calls.

I also got a call from them. Saying I. Was eligible for the 7000 dollars so stupid I hate people like that as a single mother of two children and currently without a job I need that money ugh jerks

I got a call from 222 222 2245. Guy had a middle eastern accent and said I was eligible for a 7000 dollar grant from the U.S. government because I pay my bills on time and dont have a criminal record. I informed of his mistakes and he got upset and rude saying I was waisting his time. I told him to [***] off and quit calling. Definitely a scam from what I see.

I've been called by several different numbers, all claiming to be the U.S Grant Department. I highly doubt that because, I've yet to know of the government calling a person unless you've done something wrong. If you're getting called by the federal government, that's usually time to worry. Also, as the old saying goes "If it sounds to good to be true, chances are it is."These fools have called me a number of times, and I shut them down by saying I'm on the do not call list. I also make sure to tell them that if they don't stop calling me, I will turn them over to the local authorities. Which I will be doing but, instead of the local authorities, I plan on taking it up with the FTC.

This number is BLOWING MY PHONE UP! I receive a call 4-6 times a day. If I don't answer the first time, they call right back!This has to be some major scam, or harassment.Terrible english too.
