received 5 calls so far today...all hang ups...I've even tried to answer the call (not saying anything) and hanging up on them so they might get the message. Like others on here, this is so harassing that it makes you lose ANY interest in even talking to a school that would be SO unprofessional!! I only put my email address in the request online - in fact, I didn't even press submit because I had a bad feeling. BUT several online schools have been calling me for over 2 weeks. Again, I did not even enter my phone number. I think this is true harassment and yes, I have my number on the "do not call" list, as it is a cell phone and I have to keep it on for my sick relative at home to reach me.ARGH! Thanks for letting me vent AND for letting us know how we can attempt to stop this.
I spoke to them via the live chat, a person named Jamie. He explained the only way they could receive my number to harass me constantly was if I provided it, or through some kind of survey. I don't live near Colorado to care for Technical schooling.My feeling is that they got it through a job employment website, like Monster or Careerbuilder.com. I have my information on these websites for employers to look up, not for so-called colleges to harass me constantly.They were helpful on the chat and I would make sure they forward your information to remove you from the harassment list.
