Called several times offering roofing services as they are working in the area. I asked a couple of roofing questions and they hung up on me!

The phone rung 3 times and the name that appeared on the caller ID was Game Day Media and when I called them, it said on my cellphone caller ID as "Atlanta Metro, Atlanta, Georgia" and the gentlemen that answered my call, put me on hold and then another guy came on the phone and said that the person that called me is on the phone with someone else and could he take a message...

Watched it ring....fools called 8:45am!!!

Got an unsolicited call from these guys claiming they were the "Book Sign Club." I am a small press publisher and independent author so I get calls from bogus 'author services companies' all the time. Red flag went off. Researched them. They don't exist. If you're an indie author, beware of scams!!!

Called my business number and left a voicemail "Yes, Hi. My name is Josh Nichols Cross Creek Golf Club, we were project over here I think may be some interest to you. If you wanna gimme a call back. I can be reached at 813 908 4060."

Received a voice mail similar to JT's: "Hi, this is Tim. We're doing a project with Stone Ridge Golf Club we though you might be interested in. . ." and the same call-back number. We do have a Stone Ridge gold course in town, but it didn't sound right. And clearly it is not; my thanks to prior contributors.

Same thing, called me at my work used the name of a local gold company with an out of state number. Weird....

I also received two calls from this number within 5 minutes of each other. Caller said his name was Mike, and that they were working on a project at the Erskine Park Golf Club, which is near me but nowhere near Florida. Told me I might be interested and should call him back. Obviously not legit!

We are a small local remodeling firm. This caller left a message on our answering service saying their name was Richard and that they had a job at a local country club they thought we would be interested in. We checked with the country club and they are not having any remodeling work done in the near future, then I checked here and saw that several others had similar calls.

Yep. My call was from Derek Young calling about the Fox Creek Golf and Racquet Club. I get calls all the time at work from random people, so I actually made the mistake of calling back.
