Called looking for our GM (asked for him first and last name). Told her, Diana, that he was at another store and took down her details. Asked what it was in reference to and she said "Mighty Mike Internet Consultant" to offer free website consultation. Sounded more like a cold call than a scam for what that's worth. Regardless, be weary.
She usually calls and asks the speak to "the owner of the company". Most of the time I transfer her to my voicemail and she doesn't leave a message. She left one today claiming to be Melissa from Gulfstream and requesting a callback.
Pushy pushy! Lady called from WSI and, like others, asked about our marketing, website, blah blah blah. "You don't have a website do you?", she stated. Of course we do, so she started talking and I stopped her because we have an inhouse service for which she still tried to butt in and I asked her what did she miss? We have an in house service so DO NOT require her services. She continued as I hung up.
A call came in to my business (in London) from WSI <2264751361> on Feb 21 and stayed on the line for 71 seconds but (as is typical for most of these garbage calls) they don't follow through our pbx greeting and stay on the line long enough to get dropped through to our reception phone so I have no idea what they're all about or what they were doing putzing around for over a minute on our phone system. I read the comments here that they're a scam operation of some sort, so I'm now blocking 226-475-XXXX (because I can, because our phone number is handled by voip.ms). So anyone calling from any number that starts with 226-475-XXXX is going to get dropped immediately and our phones won't even ring when they try to call. Do you hear that WSI? Are you happy about that? Are you happy that I'm kicking you to the curb when you call?
