Funny, I just received the automated message you are all speaking of... I made a purchase (paid the shipping charge on a groupon) to an Australian company via Pay Pal service (used my CC via a Pay Pal portal of sorts that I was directed to from the Australian web site). The only reason I mention this is the Pay Pal portal asked for my mobile #... The phone number that left the Canadian Delivery Express message is +247 510505.
I received a phine call and message leavind me a 4 degit code from canadian delivery express but i never ordered nothing . I did not call bavk
Recorded message regarding an international package for me. The message was not addressed to a particular person. It is definitely a scam. I feel it is one of a few scams looking to get my personal information in the past few weeks. (Such as texting me to ask for my mailing address.) If your personal information has been compromised, (including through MasterCard, target, Home Depot, Lowes ...), be very careful about calling back and/or giving out your personal information to anyone. Check 800 notes often!
It's a scam, most likely identity fraud. Don't give them a second of your time or info! I just got the call so googled the name Canadian Delivery Express and it doesn't exist. Hope this helps :)
Called by number 3-704-646-7480 claiming to be "Canadian Delivery Express" with delivery code 5526 to pick up my package. Cursory internet search proves it's a scam.
I live in Canada and i got this call hahaha. My call came from Lithuania instead with the number +370 46 46720. The automated message mentioned they're from "Canadian Delivery Express" and asking for the "5526" code. To myself it was obviously a scam:1) It was an international number rather than from a local post office or an 800 number.2) I have never heard of Canadian Delivery Express in Canada (not sure if it exists else where).3) A tracking number is always left in a voice mail if there are fees that are due from International shipments and it is longer than a simple 4 digit code. If there are no fees, they would have tried to deliver and leave info in the mailbox about package pickup.Researching on here has further confirmed the scam. Don't call the number back; know your delivery companies and their steps to deliver packages.
Today I also received a voice mail message saying that my package has arrived and to call back Canadian delivery service with code 5526. I called Canadian Delivery Service phone number, ( very different from the one these scammers leave )which are affiliated with Fed Ex and when spoke to agent, obviously no such code is left when they deliver parcels, they leave a card at your door advising when they try again to deliver the parcel, like other delivery company do. ITS A BIG SCAM!!!!!! PEOPLE OUT THERE BE CAREFUL!!!!!
Same call: 232-216-3883-8Gave a 4 digit code and said call us back - but no telephone number given to call back either. Definitely sounds like a scam since I'm not expecting a package at all!
