Like several states already its a scam. Was called by a woman stating that the Federal Government wanted to give me $9000. I asked her to send it as a Check with a confirmation letter. She then got ugly with me and hung up.
i got the call today and i told her i was busy and when i called the number back i got a verizon tone that the number was changed, disconnected or something. i told her to call me back later when im not busy. i am going to tell her to send it on a gift card or check if it is really for me.
This number called me around 7 pm,tonight ans didnt say a damn thing .Bur I have gotten calls about a grant and didn"t have to pay back,.lmao...Im blocking rhis number though my service ...thank you verzion
My wife got the call first and she didn't answer. Twenty minutes later I got the call. I answered in Spanish just to be an [***]. So they hung up. Mine and my wifes #s are are eight digits off from the same in numerical order. I figure the idiots are dialing that way over and over with one of those machines.
Same situation as some of the ones mentioned above. I got this call on my mobile yesterday evening from a man with a heavy accent who introduced himself (I forget what name he gave) and went into the "government grant" pitch. I was not rude, but told him that I don't accept telephone solicitations. If he worked for a real telemarketer of ANY sort, he would likely be fired immediately for the language he used with me. His English wasn't too good, but he certainly knows his way around the "f" word.
just got a call from this number... it sounded like someone was intentionally blowing in the phone...i assumed it was a prank and hung up
GOT THIS CALL ON MY CELL PHONE. IT IS A SCAM. I ALSO, RECEIVED AN ALERT FROM LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT ABOUT THE SCAM.

I called Frontiers official phone number 1-800-921-8105, the agent I spoke to gave me this scammer number, they pretend to be frontier and offer a rebate and ask you to provide your bank account info to “send” the rebate. I hung up
