Another spoofed number for the CC interest reduction scam. It make no difference if you block them, they just spoof another number. It also doesn't matter if you answer or not, they continue to call. I let all of my calls go to voicemail now.
These are "spoofed" phone numbers. Basically, made up and tagged with names of real businesses and sometimes real people, who have no idea they're being used. They're impossible to track, and the so-called Federal Gov't Do Not Call list won't stop "spoofed" numbers. We're stuck with them. Education is the best policy. Just keep blocking them. I know its a feat in itself, but for now, we have no choice.
I said Hello and a lady said she was going to reduce my credit card debt. I said no thank-you. The woman then said, What kind of name is Ziara? I said it's Iranian name. She said that Muslims like me should be beheaded just like they are doing to Christians. She then hung up. May her family be cursed.
Got a call from this # on my cell & no msg was left. Didn't answer, since it was not a # I recognized.
I am so SICK of these calls. I blocked this number, but I'll get another call with another number soon enough. It's bad enough they call on our home phone, but they are starting to call our cell phones. I hope all these people rot in hell.The sad thing is, when my parents were alive, they fell for a scam. Not this one, but one similar. It just hacks me off that this is going on in our country and no one seems to care enough to stop it. I can block the number. I can ignore the number. But if they call enough people, they will finally talk to someone like my parents who will give them the info. It was hard enough keeping my parents at home and taking care of everything without these jerks calling them and taking advantage of them.
The same exact thing happened just minutes ago. It said this was my final notice and last chance for lower interest rates. I blocked the number on my cell.
Call came in on my cell phone. As is my custom, I do not answer calls from numbers I don't recognize, so I just let it ring. No message left. Immediately did the reverse look up and it brought me to this page.

I called Frontiers official phone number 1-800-921-8105, the agent I spoke to gave me this scammer number, they pretend to be frontier and offer a rebate and ask you to provide your bank account info to “send” the rebate. I hung up
