234 567 890 IS NOT A SCAM NUMBER it's a free TEXT msg an CALLING SYSTEM from BELL CANADA'S MYBELL.ca website any bell costumer is aloud to us it as many times as want all u do is sign in to ur mybell account scroll to bottom of page an click on SEND A TEXT MSG it will bring u to another page will say enter phone number u want to send msg too then space below to write msg r can click call option I really hope people read this an finally know what the number really is an where it comes from

I told him he had the wrong number and he started yelling at me asking if I was crazy or stupid and to answer him. some people!!

Answered my cell phone from the numer 234-567-809 and a man with a thick accent said something I couldn't understand so I said im sorry you have the wrong number and he immediately started yelling at me asking if I was crazy or stupid and to answer him. Of course I hung up..how crazy people are these days!!!

Actually had to add the 0 after 9 as the actual number was 234-567-809. tried calling it back callblocked. says not in service

Person stated I had a Windows computer that was infected with a virus and wanted to assist in cleaning it up. When I told him I had a number of computers and was an Engineer, he hung up.

Same story. infected machine. A person with an Asian accent wanted me to run a program and said he was going to save my computer. Very suspicious.

A male with accent from India said he was with Windows 8, and tried to get me to log on to my computer so he could help me delete unwanted files because they are slowing down the computer. I told him I have virus protection and my computer is extremely fast...he didn't listen and kept being persistent. He has called twice so far, from 234-567-809. No zero on the end.

Same thing. This guy had some thick accent. Telling me I had a virus that was deteriorating all my software. That it was specific to my area code. I told him that I knew he was trying to scam me when he said that. (Not that I didn't suspect it already, I did.) But he kept right on going about a virus specific to windows. I hung up on him. I noticed on my phone log they tried to contact me a couple of days ago. And this call was from 234-567-809. I called back and verizon said the call could not be completed. I'm sure they would have loaded some kind of virus on my computer if they could have.

Same thing. I kept on asking who he was and why he is calling and saying that I didn't know him. He kept on giving his pitch. I finally hung up.

A guy with a thick Indian accent told me that "social media sites like Facebook could cause problems with your windows package" and said that he could help me fix it. After telling him that I had Linux, he became angered at me and said "Why didn't you tell me this earlier?!", and hung up.
