Call came in from Salem, OH, 234-567-809, from a "government program" saying that I was randomly selected and won a $500,000 loan, that I didn't have to pay back. I let him do his thing because I couldn't believe how ridiculous it was. He said all he needs is my CC info. I said, "no no , just send me the money and we'll be good to go. I am so excited about collecting this money. I am so lucky" I played with him a for a little while longer before I hung up on him.
This has been going on ever since I tried to contact an agent online to view a home. They are rude but continue to call 3-5 times a day. They said this last time he was from Lend up loan company and I was approved for a loan from the State of MN. Playing along, I asked them when I applied for this loan and he said there are many people from MN and all he had was my name and number. I pushed him and asked if they know I am approved for a loan then they should know when I applied for this said loan- he was mad and hung up. Called back 2 minutes later- did not answer.Last week a lady ended up calling be a b-word and hanging up only to call me back, whisper B-word and hang up again.
