I didn't recognize the number, answered it and they hung up on me...tried calling them back and no one answered....but whom ever they are I NEVER WANT YOU TO CALL ME!!!!
The calls from this number inbound to us are ramping up lately. We do not answer the call but it is very annoying to run to the phone to help a client only to find out it's a phone spam ...
Someone called from 12348076900 and left a message that he was calling from Abuja.Abuja is in Nigeria. Googled and found that Nigeria's country code is 234. So the calls that people have been getting could be from Nigeria rather than any place in US and so caller registry will have no effect.
This is the credit card rate caller. I have asked several times to be taken off the list. They hang up if you tell them that. Why isn't this company being looked into?
I've received numerous calls from them and I am seriously aggravated about it. I tried calling the number listed on their privacy page but couldn't get through. I found another number for them (1-800-943-3250) and actually got through to someone. After reading a lot of posts about them, I was fully prepared to rant & rave, and be ranted & raved at. I told the receptionist I wanted to be removed from their calling list. She put me through to a man, who was actually very polite, took my phone number and told me he would put me on their internal do not call list immediately. We'll see if I get any more calls... I also filed a complaint with the BBB and the CRTC.
Got an automated message at work from 1-234-567-8900 about some credit card expiring soon. I have had the same message on my voicemail at home about 2 times per week, so I decided to press #1 to speak to the service rep. When she pigked up, I told her I didn't appreciate the automated messages and to please take both phone numbers off of their list. Her exact words to me, just before she hung up, were "Sir, I'm going to lie to you. Poof - You are off the list." At least she was honest!
Think they've called twice now...yesterday there was a message from a "credit card" company. I know its crap...
I called Mutual Consolidating Services at 1-800-943-3250 and spoke to "Chris", the Compliance Officer and asked him to remove my number from their list. While doing this I was told that the calls were actually coming from a company called J.P.M. at 312-249-1595. I also called them and told them to remove my name from their list. So far, no more calls. They sure were annoyed I was able to get their numbers and find out who they were.....lol. Call them, it will help, and give them a piece of your mind. Pass this message and phone numbers on and tell everyone to call them, the more people that do it, the more we will be able to stop rude, annoying scammers like them. Worked for me...lol.
