234-567-8900 / 2345678900

I got a call once too

Dozens of calls from 234-567-8900 (or 234-567-890000000) with as many zeros as the phone can hold.A vaguely Indian person comes on and asks for someone who doesn't live here.

Asked for fax number at my office. Called my personal cell number.Country: Lithuania +370 :/

these ba****ds will not stop phoning me and i live in the uk looked up on here that it is some sort of scam and was wondering how i get it to stop?????

234 is the country code for Nigeria..this is definitely a scam operation

I stayed on the line long enough for a person to come on. Lots of racket in the background. She asked to speak to the owner of the phone when I asked why she said she was calling about a computer. When I questioned her further she said they were getting an error message from my computer. "No you're not", I stated twice. She hung up.

RE: above post. The call came from the 234-567-8900 series of numbers. How can these calls be stopped?

stop calling me. don't know who you are so don't bother me any more.

234 is an area code in Ohio.It's also the country code for Nigeria.Possibly it's a scam. Also, the number is probably spoofed and/or outside the US, so the Do Not Call Registry (or the similar service in Canada) doesn't block it...

This is a call from India wanting to sell you medication like Viagra. I've added the number to my block call list. I've answered the call in another language, funny but didn't help.
