This # keeps calling my cell, and there is a way at least if you have Nextel or Sprint to block these calls. It's called a call filter we should all find out from our phone companies if they have call filters and our home #'s we can all set up telemarketing block.Good luck at least I don't have to deal with these calls anymore.
no message, obviously a telemarketer/criminal scam.. My question is, why isn't BELL Canada using the technology which they have implemented, to stop these criminals!!?BELL is just as guilty, by giving these animals the technology to remain undetected, they are giving them the means to break the law!!I WANT TO KNOW WHO IS 1-234-567-8900!!! Use the system which you so dearly invested in to stop this, or class action may be coming YOUR WAY (BELL)!!! LET ME TALK TO YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE.. oh wait.. that's India!! WHY DO WE PUT UP WITH THIS?? Because the customer is no longer as important I guess.
I get many calls from this number..They never answer. TRY this hold the # key for 15 seconds..it screws up there computer and I was told that it will remove yuor name and number..
I got a call from these people within ten seconds of activating my phone. I didn't pick up. The area code (234) is from Ohio, I think.
I got em i got em. Its some company called JPM Accelerated the number is 1-888-878-1014. we should all crank call them.
It would not have been from the veterans affairs ,most likely a scammer.I got a call today 8-25-08 and they said something about diabetic supply and IM not a diabetic.
Just wanted to drop in my two cents. I manage a VOIP phone system for my company and "I" could simply enter this number as the outbound identification. The phone company DOES NOT control caller-id in many instances. Legally you must provide either correct information or present as a blocked ID, yet it's VERY easy for scam artists to pick out the number 1-234-567-8900 and masquerade as this number. The people posting in this thread are probably posting about hundreds of different companies who are faking the same caller ID. Best way to handle this, NEVER EVER give out any personal information over the phone as anyone could just as easily spoof a number you trust.

They called my number around noon and a recording came on saying to reduce my credit card interest to press 1 to talk to agent, or 3 to be removed from list. I did press 3 the time before this and and it seems it didn't work so I pressed 1 this time and got an actual person. He started right in asking if I had a debt of at least $14,000.00 but I didn't give him a chance to finish and In a strong voice i said to take my number off their list and never to call my number again. He started to reply to that but I didn't give him a chance and hung up on him. Now we'll see what happens. By the way, this number was from Salem, Ohio provided by Sprint.
