ive gotten calls from this number and it turned out to be my friend from Australia

yea man i got a call from it and i was like rele 1-10 r u [***] kidding me picked it up and it was the dial tone to get on the internet or sumtin like that

this a credit card fraud #

The guy who called left a message on my answering machine without stating the reason of the call or asking for a specific name, "It is imperative that you return this call" They really got some f......nerve!

I got a call from this number. They offered some web site services.I asked them to remove my phone# of their calling list. The guy said " Now I have been pushed by you. I do not know the password. If you know you can remove your phone# of our list." And he hang up on me.I would not pick up the phone in the future...

I got a call from this. It was a credit card scam. They were trying to ask me for my data on the back of the card. I called my card company and reported it. They said they would look into it for me. I obviously did not give out my data. Everyone should know a credit card company would not ever call you and ask you for your information. If they were really your credit card company they would already have your information. When I called them on it the next time they called they hung up on me and I haven't had a call from them since.

Its so funny i didnt think anyone owned that # but luckily i hung up befor anyone answered (:

It is a spoof. There is an app people can access that allows them to fake caller id #s and prank their friends.

Well, putting a few things together from the entries above, I conclude that it is a spoof number meant to hide the identity of the real caller, which might be an ornery brother, an old friend from Australia, a lover signalling your spouse to call him/her, or ex-cons scamming credit card information.
