Received a call from this number, no one answers. When I looked number up on computer I found this site . Scam artist running loose

DO NOT DISCLOSE ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION!!!I just received a call from this number on my cell phone and the person was requesting personal information for me to qualify for this so-called "sweepstake". I immediately got suspicious as she didn't have my correct name. She claimed I was entered into the sweepstake by a major credit card that I used all the time and wanted to know which one it was. I realized that she was PHISHING for information and told her that I refuse to disclose any personal information...Funny thing...she acted like she was OK with that. I told her that I was dubious about her call because if I were entered into the sweepstake by "a major credit card that I use all the time", they would not have misspelled my name...they would have entered my name correctly.

This number has called me 3 times today.. I came to work, where i work at a telephone company and did a reverse lookup. It belongs to an unknowns proper, which is code for restricted. This is ridiculious!

I was actually able to talk to someone. She said that I was entered for a million dollar sweepstakes by a major credit card company and then listed all of the major companies and asked me which one would have entered me. I told her I refuse to tell her that and she got annoyed and said its not like they are asking for my number. I told her I thought it was weird that my credit card would enter me in a sweepstakes and not tell me anything about it and she said, "well have you gone online in the past year?" I told her all the time but nothing I have used my credit card for would qualify and again, I was never notified that I was being entered in a contest. She then said, and I quote, "Weirdo, not wanting a million dollars..must be rich or something. See ya" and then hung up. If it was for real they wouldn't have ended the call like that.

This number just called me and tried to get me to give them information about my credit cards. Of course I didn't.After we hung up I did a reverse look up on WhitePages.comand it's coming from some place in Fort Myers, FLI would inform any law enforcment in the area about whats happening and tell them where the call is coming from.

i just got a call today from this number too but luckily i missed it. Glad to find this website. Otherwise, i would have called back

I have had 2 missed calls from this number in the past week. I wasn't sure if it was a mistake or not, but now i understand. I just hope they call back now because I would like to ask them a few questions (even though they may hang up on me).

they call early early in the morning, i never answer it but when i go to call in back it goes straight to voicemail...
