THEY KEEP CALLING AND WHEN ANSWERING MACHINE PICKS UP THERE IS JUST ENOUGH NOISE IN THE BACKGROUND TO REGISTER. THEN THE ANSWERING MACHINE BEEPS UNTIL I CLEAR IT. VERY ANNOYING! JUST A NUMBER AND BEHESDA MD..
If enough of us complain abut this, will something actually be done about it? They called around 10pm and the gal asked for our son personally, by name. Something about Diabetes Society. Our son is deployed.....
This person calls all different time of the day and night. Like all the others a noise and not answer.
These Bast@#ds keep calling every night at 9. sometimes they answer and sometimes they hang up. Im reporting them! A@3 holes! This is like the 10th time they've called.
My answering machine picked up the call and they left no message - 7/13/2010 9:04 PM PDT. Caller ID said only "unavailable".
A call from 240-507-1192. This was not a recorded message. The man said his name is John. (Ah huh) He correctly identified my name and even pronounced it more or less correctly. He told me that I am listed as diabetic and am receiving medicare, both of which I said No to. I assumed he was going to sell me something or ask for donation. I asked him, "Who are you?" and he cut the call. Glad to see others are having similar problems, and I appreciate the information.
I, too have been getting calls from this number. Quite a few. I would pick up and hear all kinds of background noise, people talking, and no one responding to my hello. I'd hang up, I'd let the machine pick it up, naturally no message. The day before yesterday, I answered it, and a woman calling herself Amanda from The Diabetes Network (we have NEVER had anything to do with them) responded. I literally reamed her a new one, I cursed her out and told her NOT to call back, then I hung up. YESTERDAY they called AGAIN (this is like the 20th time) and this time it was THE SAME WOMAN using a different name! I asked what it was all about (very politely) and she said they were calling all medicare/medicaid people who got diabetic supplies. I responded "well dear, from what I understand, you were told just yesterday not to call this number, that you would be reported, so now I am asking you very politely not to call here again since no one here fits your criteria", now remember I spoke to her just the day before, VERY nastily! She said well I am the one who will remove your number and we will not call again. I responded, please see to it that you don't call here again as I have the number and will report it to all appropriate agencies. let's see if they call again......I'm sure they will. BTW The Diabetes Network is located in New Mexico....number generates from Maryland
