Thanks for the previous reports.Stinks when you're waiting for calls from prospective employers and you have to consider that a strange number might be nefarious.Thanks for the interesting information about telemarketers being able to spoof a phone number so our Caller IDs don't display their real phone numbers. That's a nightmare scenario. All the reports in the world to the FTC won't help to stop anything if we're just reporting spoofed numbers.But if our Caller IDs display the spoofed numbers, then the phone company should be able keep their own records of who is using those spoofed numbers, and work with the police to occasionally raid the worst offenders until they're all gone.Interestingly, now I have 14 phone numbers in my address book named "Telemarketer," but I have never been called twice by the same number. That is, every time a telemarketer calls me, the phone never displays "Telemarketer," but instead a new, unknown phone number. But I'll keep adding them to my phone book, anyway.I have a theory that people that "pick up" when strange phone numbers call are the ones that become pestered by continually repeating calls. I've never answered a telemarketer since I got Caller ID, and each telemarketer that calls me is only a one-time occurrence. Aside from that minor pestering, I've never gotten the daily annoyance.Best luck.

Calls every 2 weeks, Something about a trip worth $1800. Asked him 3x who was this? and was ignored. He kept asking me if I had a credit card. When I asked him to identify himself the last time, he just signed off and said goodbye.

I have had repeated hang up calls to my answering machine from these idiots. ID shows Pennsylvania.

Cruise offer with a rude telemarketer who did not identify himself and continued to talk over me when I asked who he represents. Finally got a word in edgewise and told him "under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, I am asking to be removed immediately from your list" . . . with that, I was put on hold with happy elevator music. It played for a few minutes and finally disconnected.
