Here's a newsflash. You ready???It's 2012. Stop. Calling. People. Period. I don't give a rat's a@@ if you're research or survey or trying to deliver a Brad Pitt lookalike. Stop. Calling. People.Find another way to market/survey/research. It's NOT the only way. I will share NOTHING about myself or my family or even the cat with you. It's a waste of your time AND mine. I'm guessing some folks that are lonely or stupid will talk to telemarketers. Well, bless their hearts, they're the reason telemarketing companies are still in business. What do they represent, 10% of your calling list? Enough to keep you in business, sadly.Privacy. Find.Another.Way.

You are a piece of [***]. For real. Honestly you made me laugh. The people you talk to on the phone, they do not have anything to do with who they call or what they call about. Its simply their job to make the phone calls. The research company itself is not who you need to complain to. We do surveys for company's anywhere from Papa Johns to AARP. Complain to them, they hire us. Stop buying pizza, reading the paper, paying your electric bill, etc... These are the company's we do surveys for. ALSO, Mrs. Piece of [***], we don't ask any personal questions about your family. Your opinions about companies has nothing to do with your piece of [***] family. I'm sure you will raise your children to be ignorant little idiots just like you that treat people on the phone like dirt. It may not be the only way, but it is a very efficient way. The people we talk to are highly educated, usually they have Masters degrees and several a night are doctors. These are people smart enough to realize that; A. we are not selling anything. B. That this is just our job. and C. That phone surveys are THE MOST EFFICIENT WAY TO DO RESEARCH.So, to conclude, grow the [***] up. Treat people right, and participate in a simple 5 minute survey. I honestly don't think you have right to talk [***] about us or what we do if you don't participate atleast once. GROW THE [***] UP.

We aren't telemarketers, we are market researchers, sweetheart. Do some research of your own and you will know that. And much more than 10% of the people we call do the surveys. Hundreds of people a day participate.

Called and tried to leave a fax, as far as I can tell from the squealing on the answering machine.

Some jerk with a deep voice pretended to be calling from Con Edison which is an NYC energy company. I called them back and told them to put me on their "no call" list. Next time I won't be so polite. Wonder what mutant sold them my name and cell phone#...
