I never give out my cell phone number and I'm on the DO NOT CALL list but today I received a call from this number, wanting to lower my credit card interest rate, I pushed the #1 and it just rang and rang an soon disconnected. How do we stop this caller?
Second call; first one I ignored.Received an automated message that it was my final notice about reducing my credit card rate to 6.9% and to Press 1 if I was interested. So I pressed 1. Was connected with a lady who asked if I was calling in regards to the rate reduction. Before I answered I asked what bank she was from and she said 'Visa / Mastercard, your credit card provider'. I then answered her first question, yes. She then asked for a rough estimate of my total credit card debit and I answered with "You should know that already". A fraction of a second after answering she hung up.
Number called my father yesterday afternoon and now me just about 25 minutes ago. We don't share the same plan, but we both have Verizon. Not too sure what is going on. When I pressed one to speak to someone, the lady hung up on me as soon as I asked her why they had called my phone number.
Got a call from this number today on my cell phone, didn't answer it.i have a rule, if the caller isn't one of my contacts, i don't answer. they can leave a message and i won't call them back.

Caller wanted personal information and claimed to be from some credit company that does not exist.

Called me but I didn't hear the phone, no message left
just got a call from 888-431-7820. Told me I was breach of contract. Very hard to understand the lady. I dont have a contract with anyone that I know of. When I look to see the number call it tells me Claim Services.
