Once this issues reaches a tipping point (I would imagine when the common Joe is setting up whitelists) then the telcom and govt agencies will do something. When political campaigners can't call people because they block all unknown calls, that's when they will fix the issue.
I continuously get calls from this number on my cell phone. I'm seriously considering pressing charges because they never say anything when I answer the phone but leave messages on my voicemail for free security systems.
I rec'd a call from this number today. ItstRted "Hello seniors........". I dialed 1 and got nothing. My approach to this so to give no more info than you have to, no real info (i.e. Credit card no etc.). If I have the time, I keep them on the line as long as I can. Waste their time just as they waste mine.
The recorded message began by saying "Hello seniors" then went to describe a free medical alert system.
I have reported numerous times and nothing is done. The scumbags just change numbers and continue.
same as above, female looking to solicit for senior medical alert system. Invoked the stale "honor the Do Not Call List" response, and filed a complaint with the even more ineffective and drone-filled FTC.

Someone using this number called, when I answered there seemed to be there cut I said "hello" twice and no one said a thing. I hung up. If it was a collector they would not only answer but keep you on the line for as long as it took.
