They call and they say they are the internal revenue services. It is a scam. Their accent look like they are from India because they speak a broken English.

This number calls and pretends to be FPL stating your account is past due. Tried to pull this off on 80+ year old friend. When my friend told him "no way" my bills are paid they hung up. When we called FPL they said its a scam.

I received the call and in the call ID identifies as FLP. The individual indicated my service was going to be turn off because my bill was past due. I told him when the last payment was made. He apology for the inconvenience but then he proceeded to tell that they also work with Federal Government and that I had received a letter three months ago regarding my taxes and because I did respond to the letter that's also why they were going to disconnect my service. Once I told him that I was calling FLP customer service to verify, he hung up.

This number just called me and said my FPL bill had not been paid and that my electricity was going to be turned off. A scam!

Someone just called my cell phone from this number, the caller ID displayed "FPL", and was told that my electricity was about to be disconnected for lack of payment. This is a scam. BEWARE!
