i didn't answer my phone because of not knowing the number but he was calling me by my name and asking why don't I answer him Completely scarey ! My phone is supposedly blocked so how do these calls get threw??

If you have Vonage and do not have any blocking on it then I suggest you try Phone.com. As this is the service that I now have after my original service went bankrupt (Broadband phone service) and I have had it for almost two years now and I am very happy with it. You just go on the internet and to your phone service and click on blocking , it will be blocked until you un-block it. Also, the price is right and you have so many options to use the service. Same old story.

Answered the call and got a person named Annette Clark who claimed to be with the Anaheim Home Center. I Googled the name and it doesn't exist. She gave me a call back number of 714-394-8093. Wanted to give me quotes for work on my house. Perhaps new windows or kitchen remodel. I have been religiously reporting these calls in detail to the FTC.

Received this call - caller ID said "NAME UNAVAILABLE" and the number is spoofed (there is no prefix 131).I usually do not answer these because they are ALWAYS telemarketers, and I HATE telemarketers!I was a home improvement company. The exact moment i said "We ar eon the do not call"....she hung up.Look in to Ooma for telephone service (if you have internet). Their premium service allows you to block up to 250 numbers, and get call records on your computer, including voicemail via email. If you subscribe on the internet chat or by phone (i.e., with a real person), they will discount both on the number transfer and the premium service ($10./mo).

This company calls repeatedly. We do not answer. The head of the company is Ron Gaver. Give him a call.

No message left from this spoofed number. 1:22pm today

This scammer called 7 -- SEVEN times at 2:31PM on 12/17/2014- Caller ID shows "Name not Found." I never heard the phone ring because of a phone screening machine where I can identify and reject/block robo-calls and other unwanted calls. This number was rejected, but I can see it in the phone log. I LOVE my phone screening machine. Peace at last.

Joseph calling from Home Center, saying they have called before and wanted to check in with us again. I told him, that yes they have called and I told them we are not interested in their services since we already have our own handymanand contractor. I also reminded him that I even asked them to not call my home. I once again told him we do not needtheir services, then I asked him to lose my phone number and asked them not to call me anymore.

Hangup call from this clearly spoofed number. Scummy DNC-violating scammers! 10:28 am today.
