This number has been showing up on my cell phone for weeks. Calls occur late in the evening. I finally answered. Said they were from the government, specifically the CDC and doing a study on childhood diseases and vaccinations. Sounded really phishy. I told them to put me on their do not call list. He said they don't have a do not call list - BS. Tried to talk me into taking a survey and I said no thanks and hung up.

The CDC (in GA) has contracts with UChicago NORC (in Chicago). NORC does work for a number of government agencies. A non-UChicago-educated & non-NORC surveying professional told me years ago that NORC is one of the most highly-regarded professional surveying organizations worldwide.Can't speak to the apparent non-professionalism of a few employees reported above. They're supposed to be following a strict script, to make this survey as scientific as possible. The CDC's immunization survey helps the CDC determine potential immunization "hotspots" and where they need to raise awareness with local school districts, etc. I'm going to call back, now that I know whose number this is, but will ask for their supervisor if they're obnoxious.As an agent of a government agency, NORC can contact even numbers registered on the national "DO NOT CALL" list. Our crafty legislators exempted themselves and wannabe contenders, government agencies in general, and charities.

Calls every day at this time. Blocked and morphs numbers.

left a silent message

Got called twice from this number. Never recienving anything about CDC or anything like that. Instead the first message they left was some strange breathing. The second message was a bunch of creepy breathing at first and then a very inappropriate and disgusting remark from a man that sounded drunk and with a midwestern accent.

No body talk,complete silent,al ways call at night.
