I got a message from Mr. Davis of the Fraud Division. Supposedly I had gotten something in the mail and neither me or my attorney replied so I was to call them and talk to one of their investigators. Same old scam...Sounds legal in nature, no name of company, trying to scare a person into calling back so they can get money out of you for a bogus "debt". I did not call back.
Michael Johnson investigator wanted to take a statement from me. Criminal charges are pending for fraud for using incorrect banking information to pay a debt. Missing paperwork that no one got. No company name.
message said I hadn't return documents and I needed to call 800 456 6145 to talk to an investigator immediately

I received the same message. Mr. Davis from Fraud Division. My phone number has been attached to a claim. I never responded to a state mandated notification that was mailed out... how about I NEVER received one! I love these calls. They just go onto my blocked list.
Message left:Mr Davis from a fraud company (no company name given) and my number was attached to a case in the office. There was no response to the state-mandated notification, please call our office back.This was the first time I've heard from these people, and believe with the other posts that this is a scam.
