I just got a call from this number and promptly files a complaint. Do it through the home page of www.donotcall.gov
Caller Name: Member ServicesCaller Number: 313-355-5255Call Type: ScammerDate: October 10, 16 & 20, 2014 Times: 11:41am & 4:18pm & 11:41am ETComment: Use your Caller ID and never answer the phone if you do not recognize the caller's name as a company you do business with or a friend or family member.Left call choice as "Unknown" because SCAMMER was not listed as a choice.
Many of these low-lifes are just out of prison on probation / parole--and this is the only fast hire job they could get. Their job is simple: Make as many calls a business day ( and sometimes, weekends ), as you can--evidently, it's NOT a problem if everyone NEVER answers. Otherwise, you have ex-cons SCAMMING their current boss(es)....and how fracked up THAT'd be???If it's any consolation: These scumbags get fired after a few days--because doesn't take long for their boss(es) to wise up and see they're calling homes that NEVER answer their calls; 90% of these fired scumbags are hauled off back to prison. So you're doing your part to see that happens--by simply ignoring every scam call. Keep up the good work there!!
Call from "Member Services" - with 16 pages of complaints above?! Yea, right.Didn't leave a message.
Write down EVERY scam number that calls you. Then, call your phone company and learn more about BLOCKING these scammer scumbags; it's worth the extra cost, trust me.
this is a home security robo call,i get this at least twice a month,i too am on the seemingly useless do not call list.
If everyone posting here would: A) Complain to their nearest FBI office branch.B) Call or email their state's elected Congresspeople--raise strong Hell to get FBI / Homeland Security to go after and arrest these crooks circumventing the National Do Not Call Registry. C) Contact Major Network media ( NBC and CBS ) have them go after the politicians and these tele-scammers!!A, B, C--problem would eventually get solved.....but not before some Washington D.C. Congresspeople would be profiled, nervously squirming on 60 Minutes or high level administrators within our Justice system would face career termination and replaced by COMPETENT people FOCUSED on catching and jailing these crooks--because enough of WE THE PEOPLE, put the right pressure on these politically corrupt people. I suspect these tele-scammers are likely well funded: These bogus lines are NOT cheap to operate. My logical guess is organized crime ( Irish, Italian and/or Russian Mafia...maybe Japanese Yakuza )--who, by the way, has some impressively rich / powerful political lobbyists, buying people in the Department Of Justice ( DOJ ), FBI and in Congress. How else, given today's tracker technology, are these slugs able to aggressively contact us?We CAN aggressively call on the politically empowered to STOP them....or find re-election campaigns to be a complete waste of their money or time!!
313-355-5255 MEMBER SERVICES / NATIONAL CALL CENTER Offering General Electric Home Security System : Jeremy was the rep: said they were in South Orange County just north of us ( San Diego) offered $99.00 flat fee for installation & $37.00 month monitoring fee, could have an installer here within an hour. asked for copy of there DNC Policy and they hung up. next time I will let them send someone out, and make arrest for violation of business license law. that way I get all the information to force a lawsuit & damage claim under the Do Not Call Law
Don't forget to notify your local FBI branch ( they're listed in your local phone directory ). Talk to an FBI agent in person; you might not have much luck going to www.fbi.govAlso, find the contact number(s) of your state's Congress people--raise hell and ask they propose and pass legislation to SHUT DOWN these brazen tele-scammers. Contacting major TV networks NBC and/or CBS might not hurt, either......
