called my cell phone after having called my land line last week. Congress needs to redo the law for Do Not Call List!
Telemarketer with a recording for cruises. Apparently they do not check their DO NOT CALL registry.
They are saying the same thing to all of us whether we have a friend who took a cruise or not. Falling for their stupid calls is what keeps these guys in operation.
The "redo" needs to take away the protection enacted for political, polling and non-profit, agencies.However, much like going above a posted speed limit, there is little you can do toward stopping someone/groups from spoofing calls without putting the power to block in the hands of the people.Charter Communications only allows a limited number of blocks, or specific-allowed calls, as do several other providers. They should be treated as common carriers and all be required to provide unlimited blocking of specific numbers and area codes to their subscribers.Another easy solution for under $100 is to buy a call blocker from Amazon or eBay. I use CPR Callblock and the unwanted calls dropped by 90% in the first month. It's even quieter now as I block whole are codes if I receive calls from regions I don't do business or have friends in:)Most unwanted calls (political polling and hand-out requests) I get come from two in-State locales. Others from zones in Miami, Arlington VA, MN, CA, NM and one in Chicago...now blocked, I see their ID afterward and yet never hear the phone ring as the call is cut without me touching the phone:)
No message & when called back it says changed or disconnected and that it's a Verizon account
I was expecting a call because I had someone coming to work on my house. That is why I answered the phone. The guy says "Hi, this is Tim from customer service -can you hear me okay?" Stupidly I said "yes" and now they have a recording of me saying yes.It is some sort of vacation scam. I hung up and it wouldn't disconnect for a while.Tried calling the number, but it does not go through. Avoid this scam!
I forgot to mention that I also use the free version of NQ Call Blocker for Android and its works well:)

Received a text from this number today about their colon kit. As always with these types of texts, I block the number without responding and report it ass spam.

Scam. An attempt to get bank account information and then a request to transfer money to the scammer's account.
I called Frontiers official phone number 1-800-921-8105, the agent I spoke to gave me this scammer number, they pretend to be frontier and offer a rebate and ask you to provide your bank account info to “send” the rebate. I hung up
