Have received MANY calls like this. Usually don't answer, but did today, and guess what! I won a free cruise to the Bahamas!!! I then hung up. These people spoof the numbers they are calling from because they think they won't be caught. I wish something could be done about all the robocalls!
Got a call today. I did not answer and no message was left. Theory about building a list to sell is probably legit. Been on the DNC list for years yet these idiots still get my number.
3139105940. No message. I tried calling back, (relatives with the 313 area code) But number was disconnected?
Just got one from them, and think I have before too, if I don't recognize a number, I don't answer.....too bad, scammer.
Call came all automated. It had pauses like they knew you were going to respond. When I started yelling, the message continued. It was a a prerecorded message. This is the 2nd time 2 days in a row I've gotten calls like this.
My phone rang and I didn't answer because the caller was not identified on my phone, I dialed the number from a different phone and the recording stated the number was disconnected.
These guys are spoofing disconnected numbers, so automatic scammers.Remember, when you put your number on the do not call list, ANYONE can buy that list from OUR government, so the government gets your number AND makes profit off of selling your number to scammers.Dont believe it? Google buy the DO NOT CALL LIST, see how easy it is to buy. I can buy every number on it.Its a government scam to make more money off of you.
This number showed up on my work cell. I called it back - thinking it was one of our customers - I get a recording that the number has been changed or is no longer in service. Really? In a matter of 2 minutes?
