I never answer these calls and always block the number. But I get a different call from a different number just about every day. This time, I pressed one to try and talk to a person and threaten them. But it did not go through. These folks need a lawsuit, but I can't figure out whey they are.

I realize you're trying to help, but I have found by answering the phone and consistently saying no has resulted in a significant reduction of calls. Don't be afraid to answer!

Just look at all the posts and how many with so many recent dates--The scammers are busy----Always check with 800 notes---As with many others I never answer unknown numbers

Spam call trying to get you to give them your credit card info for "lower rates"

While I congratulate you for informing people, your information is not all accurate, hope you do a little more research, so people will be informed better . Just wanted to say, the numbers in 99% of the cases are NOT spoofed, because, these 'companies' ( and their 'clients') own the phone numbers and profit a fraction of a cent for each caller id transmission, which is profit shared between them. Best option is to waste their time, or not answer at all.

Oh right, you would also be wrong to assume reporting it to the dnc list will do anything when the calls are being placed legally via loopholes, like foreign business entities and loopholes regarding solicitations if your a business owner. Even if it's illegal, the reality is, taking to court will do nothing because no us court has jurisdiction over a Belize business.What needs to change is the law, and companies getting scammed (ie- phone companies) need to beef up their tech.

This call came in right after I rejected and reported another unrecognized number, also a credit card scam. That other number is: 276 723 6888.
