Spam scam Robo call claiming to be from Southern California Edison but likely fraud

Got this on my cell and So Cal Gas Co doesn't have my cell number (above reference). They left no message.

Beware. I don't live in CA. Why So Cal gas is calling is somone who hijacked their number. Blocked the call.

Got a call from this number and did not answer because So Cal Gas does not have my cell number. Figured it was a similar hijacking of a number as what happened to So Cal Edison

They called and I didn't pickup and as usual they left no message.

Received a phone call from this number today.I did not answer the phone, and they did not leave a message on my answering machine.My caller ID reads this phone number as "TOLL FREE CALL"Everyone be cautious ... more than likely, this is a robocall attempt from telemarketing scammers.Also, this is probably a fake phone number that they display in caller ID. They have "spoofed" this phone number, and are hiding their true phone number that they really used to call us.

Same fraudulent telemarketing scam operation that is faking SDG&E's toll free customer service number. Number blocked.

This legitimately seems to be from Southern California Gas. I'm not sure why they called, but it's a standard phone tree menu about press 1 for a suspected gas leak, press 2 if you're a residential customer, press 3 if you're a business customer, etc. If you go down the phone tree path, it will ask you again if you suspect a gas leak then continue from there. I'm going to mark my phone as SoCal Gas and see what happens if they call again.
