Hung up on answering machine of course. This is in my area code AND within my own zipcode. Sappington Missouri is just down the road from us.The way they get away with this is they "steal" someones phone number; that's called spoofing. And that way they can call from out of the country: Virgin Islands, Belize, even Pakistan! The Federal and State DNCdoesn't cover other countries. There's not a darned thing the government or whomever can do about it.
I didn't answer. I called back after they hung up. message box was conveniently full so I was unable to leave a message.
Wanted to take a 4 minute survey on bath and kitchen appliances and faucets. Asked what types I knew of or heard of. Asked what household income range was. How long lived in house and how long planning on staying.8 pm at night on a monday.
Same hear. They would send a cheque for $30.00 to do a farmer survey on grain crops and weed sprays used. One year and no cheque.
Just called me this afternoon saying they were from USbank and wanted to do a customer satisfaction survey. They didn't sound legit and I told them it was a bad time. They said they'd call back but didn't schedule a time. Bogus.
keeps calling and obviously is stupid or uses speed dialer because my voicemail says plainly if you are a solicitor HANG UP and DO NOT call again and remove my number from your call list - and they keep calling non stop. I am going to answer next time and tell them they are idiots. WHile they may not be selling they are soliciting for information.I am on the no call and have NOT done business with them so they are illegal I am so sick of my time being taken for them to make a buck LEAVE ME ALONE
