For a year now I get calls from this number referring to me as Lily Brown. I am not Lily Brown and told them so. They still call. I blocked the number and they can still leave a message on my cell, and it's for Lily Brown. Creeps. There outta be a law....
My father has received four phone calls from this number since the beginning of December 2016. My mistake was telling Trixie - the caller - to call back in one week. On December 28, 2016, I told her in no uncertain terms to take him off her call list. He had to have a blood transfusion on December 3rd because his hemoglobin count was so low. He found out on December 7th that he's got colon cancer. He had a pacemaker put in on December 20th because the surgeon doing the colon operation wouldn't perform the operation without it. He had an operation for the cancer on January 5th. He was released from the hospital on January 17. On January 18 Trixie phoned again. She said that I never requested her to take him off her list. This is an out and out lie. I requested this twice. I told her on the 18th that I'm keeping track now of how may times I'm asking her to take him off her list. When he was released from the hospital, my father learned that he may need an operation on his bladder and on his prostate. He is a very sick man and does not need this kind of harassment. I'm ready to contact the RCMP and the FBI and whoever else would like to help me stop this person. I contacted Ex Libris Publishing Company and they deny any knowledge of these phone calls.
I recieved a call just now from this number, but didn't answer. I signed up for XLibris some time ago, but once I realized what they were doing, I opted out. If I want to self-publish, I'll go with Amazon or something.
If it's a cell, you can put it on a "spam" list and set it to not ring. If it's a landline, I'm not sure, but I think there's a way to block it.
Xlibris is a scam. They ask people for money before publishing a book, and I've seen numerous reviews claiming they never fulfilled their end of the deal, despite paying hundreds to thousands of dollars.
called cell. cid 3174893887. msg stayed call is in response to an online request which was not made by me.
They called me on my mobile (cell) in Sydney. But they also called my silent land-line. I didn't answer. There would be no point asking them how they got my mobile number, let alone the silent one!
