AHAHAH....so now Chuck creates his own endorsements! Gotta love the internet where the same guy can operate under Chuck, Lee, an Barbara. If he can create the false persona's of Lee and Barbara Williams can't he at least create a Hank Williams???
This guy, Chuck, calls everyone a flipper and scammer, but he's the one flipping and scamming stereo gear on CL all the time. You see him listing what was listed by others a day or two earlier with significant markups.
Thus guy will not stop harassing local people who post anything related to stereo gear on craigslist. Examples of his messages use profanity and veiled threats when he replies to posts on craigslist. Local law enforcement needs to step in and stop this guy. According to Indiana law he has committed several misdemeanors by sending un-solicited profane messages without any intent to engage in communication according to craigslists rules. Furthermore, the threats of legal action he makes towards individuals who have not committed any crime is also against Indiana law. He uses bait and switch tactics to lure people he engages with into verbally and mentally abusive conversation. If you recieve and email from any of the formentioned addresses, names, or phone calls from the individual, save all emails or other forms of communication and please report directly to local law enforcement agency.
I know more about Chuck than most anyone or that I care to know. This guy is totally insane and is a danger. Period.Sue me Chuck, then I can prove in court that you are a dangerous person and needs to be kept away from society.I have had to deal with his sick e-mail abuse and his bad-mouthing me and others. He says he only buys from original owners but that is a total crock. Here is a hint, Chuck- remove the thrift store price written on the back or bottom of the "pristine" item you are trying to sell BEFORE a potential buyer sees it.
Rex be a man and use your name. Rex Ellis in greenfield In. You have bought from me and the in same instane badmouth me. I do admit you have changed my mind about selling. Your BS Words tell the story. You get pissef off if you can't buy something at your price. You turn around and resale on ebay. Shoild I post your ebay name. People he has several items on both CL and ebay. But has bad bargainning skills and quite a crybaby. Beware dealing. Nice to your face then in a flash bad mouths you to keep his so called audiophile buddies as friends. Speak the truth rex.
Forgot to mention how you like to threathen and say you have family on state police as a backup. Rex I have 30 emails from you in less than 1/2hr time ranting about family and what an honest guy you are. I would trust a snake first. You know its a possible bite headon. With you its positive once a persons back is turned.
Beware dealing with Rex he goes by several different email addresses. But number is (219) 776-6504. That does not change.
So glad I googled the phone # he gave me to call for his "Vintage" stereo...thx to everyone for sharing their stories, shame people have to be ugly like that...thanks again!! He gave me the 317 400-6607 # BTW
Do not buy from or sell gear to this individual!! He gets most of his gear that doesn't have oroginal paper work with it from goodwill, Irvington flea market (where he harasses customers and booth owners!) Nothing wrong with where he gets stuff, but he then lies and claims it was original owner pieces and asks way to much. When you point out, as the previous poster did, that he forgot to remove his thrift store tag and markings (in addition to stickers, chuck, goodwill writes a number in black permanent ink on the gear that is immediately recognizable...) He goes on rants and lies about and belittles the person who pointed it out.He can ask what he wants- he is entitled to it, but his harassing phone calls and abusive and stalkerish phone calls need to stopped. Save yourself the buy straight from goodwill or irvington flea market before he gets the stuff, you will be a lot better off money wise and you won't have to deal with chuck the nut case and his volatile ego. I have personally seen him walking out of irvington with choice pieces and then they show up on craigslist a few days later, usually in no better condition than he picked them up in. Oh and the true one owner pieces he does have, he paid way too much for to begin with and so he has to ask insane prices to ever make any money. Collectors, it's time to cut out the middle man....don't buy from a man like chuck who has no intention of ever appreciating the gear he buys, start doing your own picking!
