I got a call with static. I called back and it said, phone disconnected. I think it is more than a sales scam at this time. I traced it some and it is a landline serviced by Centurytel in Monroe, LA Probably trying out some new tecnique for furthe use in the scam business.
got a call at 4.15pm EST from the number 13189989988 and heard some wiered sound and then female voice in spanish? 9 sec. i disconnected the phone.
Got the call on the 5th. little after noon. Didn't answer. Sprint customer. :\ Wonder what's going on with this.. And if it's an auto-charge scam. Just called it, and it's no longer in service. :|Lame.
Have an iPhone on at&t service, got a voicemail from them at 10:10 A.M. while I was at school. Obviously I didn't answer and didn't have any missed calls, just the voicemail.
