I received a call from this alleged MN number from someone, asking for a contribution to the NY Democrat Committee!!! I don't know why; no one here votes Democrat. I do not make donations to ANY political party any more.
Panasonic makes a phone that allows 250 blocked calls. I had the 30 one before but it was filled up in no time. It has been over a year with this phone and I am not up to 200 yet. Once you have blocked a number you can have it ring once or not at all and just check the caller ID to see who called and was blocked.
female caller claimed she was from the Democratic [something or another], asking for a person who's _never_ had this phone number, but somehow got her name and my number mixed a few years ago in one of the Lefty/Democratic/Liberal sucker lists.(I get lots of calls asking for her from plenty of similar groups).I told the caller that enough was enough, and that the next time this happens I'll consider instituting a federal suit for harrasment, etc. Dunno if that'll do any good.
If they get your info from the DMV, it doesnt matter if you are on the do not call list. They arent selling you anything.
