I agree. Once I found out the head of the organization makes $400K+ a year, I stopped sending money. I still have my equality sticker on the back of my truck, but I won't give another dime.
i too am getting incessant phone calls from this number. glad to see here who the culprits are. they really should just leave messages. everyone sees their missed calls these days so it's strange they just don't leave a voicemail. i never answer calls from numbers i don't know anymore :-/ .
They call me 3 times a day, even on Sundays. I donated in the past, and I now have other charities that I would like my money to go to now.
This number has called me several times a day for weeks now. They do not leave a message identifying who they are, The calls are very excessive and annoying.
Well then tell us what other organizations. I am a supporter of HRC and think that they are a prevalent resource in the fight for rights! But if you have other orgs in mind please share don't just compalin...enlighten
They probably don't leave a message indicating who they are because it is a GAY RIGHTS organization. They don't know who else may access the messages for the number they are calling (like a parent, etc) and they would not want to inadvertently out someone! Unfortunately in some areas of the country that could put someone's life in danger...
Autodialers dial several numbers at once. When one of the numbers is picked up, the call is put through to a person. Sometimes you answer but don't get put through to a live voice- someone else picked up a second before you did and that's the call that was transferred.
I've received several calls from this number, 2 or 3 a day, so I called it back and talked to a real person. I asked to be removed from their call list and was told they would take me off. We shall see. I have never donated to them (never even heard of them) so I'm not sure why they would be calling me.

Comes up in my phone as a medical clinic, but when I called them they're some business that supposedly works with Medicare? I'm too young for medicare. Scam call.
Sounds like a potential call center scam.
Said they were from Bank of America calling me about a fraud alert on my account. When I told them I do not have an account with B o A - they hung up on me. Ironic!
They said it's a business call from northern light. Not real and clearly spam. Northern light must have its phone numbers data leaked.
Called today and left no message. No caller ID, so I did not pick up the call.
