I received this email too. It's a scam. This is a copy of the email.Hello,Thanks for the response, My name is Steven Futoran. I am buying this as a surprise to someone very dear to me and I want to keep it that way(AS A SURPRISE) after delivery day. I work with Bechtel Corp,we are currently working at a very rural area which makes it very hard for me to make phone calls due to bad network reception here but you can always text me . I will not be able to view it but I have a Mover who will come for the pickup so please get back to me with more pics and also I will be making the payment via PayPal as that is the only payment option I can access from here I hope you understand.I have some questions for you;Are you the first owner of it?Where do you live?What is your final asking price ?Does it have anything negative i should know about?Hope to read back from you soon.....Regards Futoran

He's still at it. Just got a message from him asking to Talk off of Craigslist and he wanted my number and email. Glad I googled him.

I got a reply back from him just asking for my paypal address again. Proper English was not used in the second email, which was another red flag for me.Ive been online long enough to know that if it quacks like a duck and looks like a duck, then its probably a duck. Needless to say i didnt do business with him. Personally i dont trust paypal for payment since they provide "Buyer Protection" which is just fancy speak for "scammer protection" and i tend not to do business with anyone who uses paypal. I was curious so i hopped on good today and found this page about him. It's good to see my gut didnt let me down yet again.

I'm glad I googled to....i received the exact same message from "Steven Futoran" from number: 904-615-5042 email listed as mideyness@gmail.com. I replied back with the message from one of the other comments above. I think we should all reply back with this message. Spam the spammer!RESPONSE:Hello, Here are the answers to your questions:1) No, I am not the first owner. I scammed it off of some guy named Rick Smith who apparently works for a company called Turner Construction. I paid him from a fake PayPal account and sent someone else to pick up the chair. I even sweetened the deal by telling him I would send extra funds to cover the "shipping" cost. By the time he realized he wasn't going to get paid, I had the chair and there was nothing he could do.2) Coincidentally, I also live in a very rural area near the North Pole that is only accessible by reindeer. Hopefully, this won't be too much of a problem for your mover.3) My final asking price is $900 but would be willing to accept a few Beanie Babies in a trade. (Assuming your mover has enough room on his sleigh).4) For the most part, the chair is in excellent condition. It is structurally sound and the leather has no scratches or stains, although it does smell really fishy.I hope this helps.
