I just called this number and told them that I believed in Jesus Christ as the Son of God and that I considered Scientology to be a cult. I told the person that if she was a member of Scientology to get help as soon as possible. She said they would take my name off the list. All who get that call should do similar.
OK, This is how you get scientology to quit calling you permanently: Your phone rings: Hello?Cult: Is this Mary Beth Higgins? You: who is calling please?Cult: this is the Church of Scientology. You: (wait a few seconds ) then say to someone else in the living room " could you turn that up, a little, please?" (wait a few seconds, then say) OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD! DID YOU SEE THAT??? It's on TV. The FBI is raiding the Church of Scientology!! They've got law enforcement, swat ......Now they're dragging someone out .....it says it's DavidMiscavige, Chairman of the Board..... now he's running away!! OH NO NO NO!!! They're shot him in the back!!! Now they're going after anyone in that building, it's a bloodbath!!!!Look I don't know where you are at, but you'd better start running, cause it's a nationwide sweep to catch all the sea org members........FBI has declared scientology a terrorist organization.....You'd better run!!!Hang up. Then laugh! That should do it, once they figure out its a prank, they'll never call you again!!!
Asked for some inaudible name for some guy in SC. Hope they don't call back as a result
I told them I didn't know who the person was that they were asking for....but did they know Lisa McPherson? Click. (She is the woman killed by the cult - I don't mean to disrespect but it let them know 110% that I was the wrong person to call.) Next time I will ask about Xenu - knowledge they are not allowed to have and believe will physically harm them to know.
called 1-2-2013. Caller ID read "V01021645070019." TeleBouncer properly handled this phishing expedition before it started. Didn't hear a thing. Found the record on my Caller ID. "V01021645070019" then "323-960-3542."
I've saved this number to my caller ID under "scam" so if they call again I'll know to ignore it.
They won't stop calling me! I went to them with the promise of a job about 25-27 years ago, and discovered it to be a huge mistake. Never got paid, but did lots of work for them. I finally left after a few weeks..never heard a word till a few days ago. They were using my maiden name, but they have been calling both my cell and my home phone number. I have told them repeatedly NOT to call me, and delete me from their system. I know they are getting their new recruits to do the calling, you can hear the shakiness in their voices, but the calls just keep coming..a different person every time. Never leaving a message, just calling till I answer.
Since July 31 through Aug 31, 2014, this number has appeared on our Caller ID 16 times. I answered and the male voice asked for my husband; the caller was told to leave a number and refused the request. Husband answered today and the female caller tried to use his name but it was incorrect; therefore, the caller hung up. How do we stop this?...
I have been receiving harassing calls from an auditor at Scientology of the Los Angeles, CA Org. for a week now. I have not used a service from them - actually from the org in Arizona - in over 20 years. They also got my cell phone number which is not even in my name. Someone has given or sold my personal information to them, for i am very reclusive. I have asked not to be called, to be removed from their call list, (I am already on the the national do not call list.) and upon the third call I threatened that i would take action against them if they contacted me again and hung up. Immediately I received several text and phone messages. Obviously they do not care about me or my needs. Why would anyone want to be a part of something that cares so little for a person's needs or rights? I will not waste my time talking to them any longer and will immediately begin the steps necessary to stop the behavior. I am familiar with this kind of thinking. People who act like this are very self-involved and, as a group, narcissistic, in my opinion. For a very brief time i was staff in one of their orgs, as they call them, because i was interested with the Dianetics side of things after reading the same titled book by L. Ron Hubbard. I did learn some really interesting things. However, one task i had when i became staff was going through old records, and organizing and updating the data. They do keep all contact info and any other personal information that is gathered along the way; some of it was very old. Soon, i became uncomfortable with the way they think of outsiders, especially that they are on a mission to "clear" (remove reaction as a result to past trauma) each and every person on the planet. I understood from staff that it is alright to ignore what the general public or person wants in light of what they believe you need - regardless of your concerns or desires because it is best for you to do this, and because they are saving the world! Services were presented to me in a way that made sense to me and sounded reasonable. Especially as i was vulnerable in regard to certain self-esteem issues. Also, I was looking for release from some past traumatic events that i felt was still anchored in my life.At one point I was placed on their e-machine and audited with out being asked, as part of an internal issue. I was asked a number of questions that i was not allowed to answer as my responses were "read" off the machine. This and a number of other issues caused me to leave the org.
