Called and asked for my sister who doesnt live here. Said they needed to verify her address. We said we dont know her. Called again later didnt answer.

That is not necessarily true. If someone calls my home and I do not answer the phone, I still see their phone number on the list of calls received.

left message wanting to know if the address they had was connected to my phone number. Asked that I call them back. Caller I.D. only says CA. No other information.

I can set my phone to call-forward to another number. Many times, for fun, I just set it to call-forward to another scamming number. That way, when the scientology nuts call me they are forwarded to another scientology idiot or a "pay off your credit card with lower interest rates" person. I can still use my phone to call out to any number I wish. My family has my cell phone number if they need to reach me.

I got a call twice in 2 hours from this #. As other posts say it is church of Scientology asking if i have lived at a bunch of different past addresses. Just told them i am not giving out my personal information.

I have registered for the Do Not Call list and I still get unwated calls. The caller had a Brittish accent and was from Church of Scientology. I have never given them my telephone number, and I am not interested.

Called Aug. 3, 7:38PM & Aug. 4, 4:13PM.. rang once no message and found it here it's the Scientology and our no. is a business - not a residential. Very annoying persistent calls for years, at least the last 8yrs though we never answered the calls.

You might want to consider a cease and desist all contact notice, certified and signature requested. This will set the stage for legal action if they fail to comply.

My husband got a call on his cell phone looking for me, mind you we have had this cell number for 20 years. The caller asked for me by my previous married name, which I have not had that name for 25 years. A week later they call my daughter on her cell phone looking for me (with my former married name). I called them back and told them they better remove those two personal phone numbers from their system. I tried to be nice this time, next time I won't.

Susan, I can see that you did not read the information provided at the Dnc Site when signing up on the Registry. The DNC does not stop all unwanted calls. It is just a "list" purchased by Registered with the FTC sales companies, as a guide to who should not be called. Go to the site and read for more concise info on how it works.
