they called me and i don't know whose calling me...so i don't pick up...i usually do that to any phone that is not save on my phone expecually when it says name unavailable.
I have received calls from 324-903-6727, rings twice and then they hang up. When I return the call, I am told that I have called a non-working number.
i recieved a number of calls from this number, they are education network and are calling about you going back to school. each time they call i tell them i have no interest in going back to school and they hung up on me and continue to call. next time they call i will have fun with them and turn the tables on them.
You are right, these people are after a bad list of leads coming from headhunters for employment agencies that sell your information. They hang up easily when you get slightly rough with them.
324 Area Code WarningPosted by Randy Ellis on March 8, 2010M at 4:47 pmThere is no 324 area code in the United States, but many people nationally have reported receiving scam calls that showed up on their caller ID systems as originating from the 324 area code. One Internet source, wikianswers.com, reports the calls appear to be originating from Ghana, West Africa. A Northern Oklahoma businessman said he recently encountered an apparent credit card scam that used the 324 area code. A man who identified himself as Preacher Tim from Idaho tried to get the businessmanto send 600 blankets to an orphaage in Idaho, he said. The scams reportedly take many forms, but a call that appears to originate from a 324 area code should be cause for suspicion, unless a person is expecting a call from Ghana.Categorized under:consumer protection, crime, data security
received a call saying the government picked me to receive 8400.00 since i always paid my taxes on time and stuff and they needed to know how i wanted to receive my money. I was offered direct deposit into my account, or add it on to a bank card, I just let them finish their crap and said send it in a check. Was told they couldn't do it by check. Then told them I know because you are a scam and I should call the attorney generals office and report you and to stop calling my cell phone and wasting my minutes and hung up on them They still continue to call. It is a woman she has a indian accent
the next time they call just answer and start pressing thew 9 key if it is computer it will confuse it and it will drop your number. dont know but worth a shot.
