i have been called atleast 15 tims in the last few weeks, have asked to have my name removed and please don't call me. does not help. I get nothing but rude treatment and then hung up on, that is if they even answer the call when I call them back.

I got a call from this number just now. It only rang once and then hung up. I guess they are expecting me to call back? Not today

First of all like others have mentioned here donotcall.gov is useless. Second, these type of low life losers are impossible to stop or catch. There are "phone" companies where their only purpose is to be a front for scammers. This means that any info found that is related to the number is useless, especially geographical info. That's because these "phone" companies have bought (or stolen) blocks of numbers. And the scammers using them can pick ANY number they want to have show on your caller ID even though they're outside of the U.S. borders. They generally use a disconnected number and that's why calling back gets you no where.Keep in mind this is JUST like the spam you receive in your email. Even though the technology exists to stop the spam even before it ever reaches your inbox the ISPs and other providers ALWAYS place the burden of spam management on the RECIPIENT. And the ISPs get away with that because the majority of users do not understand the technologies enough to call them out and make THEM fix the problem.So, spam/scam calls just like spam emails are just going to be part of our lives. Don't be angry, it's not worth your energy.... just DO NOT answer calls from numbers that aren't in your contact list. Or, if you want to have fun with these idiots feel free to insult them, or answer phone like this "Hello, _______(insert city here) Police Department, Fraud Division... Sgt. (pick a name).... can I help you?"

I have been receiving call from 331-256-1086 several times a day....everyday. I have registered on DO NOT CALL. I am tired of these scumbag. I am collecting data and I will report them, so that they will be fined.

These idiots called my cell phone. I called the number back from my office. I asked them who they were trying to call, because I have insurance with a company where the people all speak English, and my cell phone is on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY. They said they'd remove my number. (I didn't ask for that. I asked them who they were trying to call.) They couldn't tell me. They get a list of numbers and call them from an outbound-only call center. I told them that they needed to check the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY before they just start calling people, and if they call me again, I'm calling the attorney general in all 50 states. She hung up on me. :-)

It's a lot easier to download Mr number and block the numbers you don't want to be bothered with....

I want to report the number 331-256-1086. The caller repeatly calls and no one is on the callers end. This is called on my cell phone and is a COST ME. Ease put a stop to these calls.
