I have got calls from this number several times a day. From morning til night. Never an answer never a message I am sure this is a scam
Yes. I live in Lousiana and I started receiving the phones call from all types of numbers about a week ago. None of them are ever from the same area code. I block one then they call from another. Once they see that I won't answer from an out of state number they start using a local area code. Whenever I do answer the phone they are telling me that I applied for a loan and its been approved. Then I also get another type of call stating that I have to many payday loans out there and they can help me take care of them. Last but not less is the call that comes through and they tell me that I am going to jail unless I pay them a certain amount of money to take care of my payday loan. This is a scam if I have ever seen one. I dont have any type of loans.
I got one about 15 minutes ago, and while I was talking to my phone company, they called again. US Cellular had no record of that as a phone number. When I answered the first call, some female said "I'm sorry" and hung up.
Please everyone that is reading this dont give these people any of your information. If they tell you that you have been approve ask them for the info that they have and if by any chance it is correct contact your bank. I had someone taking money out of my account just a little at a time to where they thought I wouldn't miss it. Thirty dollars here and fourty dollars there. My bank told me to contact the 1800 number that was attached to the refereance # but I never was able to get in contact with anyone. I final closed my account and opened a knew one. Well the reason for this information that I am give out is the people that called me the old account have been closed for years and that is the information that they gave me to which I was supposed have applied for this loan. Report this people don't apply for loans online. If you need money contact your bank first. Change passwords every 3-6 months. People work so hard for the things that they have and there is always some smart criminal trying to take that from us.
I just started receiving calls from 333-333-3333 and the person on the other end speaks with a foreign accent (sounded like he was from India) asked to speak to my daughter and mentioned something about getting financial aide. I hung up the phone immediately and whoever this is started calling every hour all day long. They never leave a message on the answering machine (hang up before the recording stops). Wish the government would do something about these harrassing calls. I looked up this phone number and it's coming from Burlington, North Carolina (two men) but I could not get their names.
