this is a call from india selling pharmeuceticals.they keep calling and change their number all the time.

B.S. call regarding "credit card alert". Ignore the cretins.

An automated message states they are calling about an "urgent matter" about lowering my current interest rates. I hit "1" to talk to a live operator and explained I have $1500 total owed. He questioned if it was $1500 or $15,000 and I repeated $1500. He said "Okay I'll send you some paperwork, goodbye." and hung up on me.

The DNC list does no good! The list is only for legit callers. All of these scammers don't bother with the list as they have no intention of using them.Also all of the numbers they use are disconnected numbers. If you call them they are non working numbers that they have simulated as the number calling you.There are lists of these numbers that they use for this sole purpose.Also calling the number back or pressing a combination of numbers to get you off their list just confirmed the number they called as working and is sold off to another scammer.They use they numbers until someone puts a stop to them. Usually by someone that is set up to trace the number.Telephone companies are reluctant to stop them as they bought a legit number to place the outbound calls. They spoof the number from dead numbers to call you so they can't be tracked down. It's gotten to be almost a pandemic concern.They call me all the time. It will go days and then all of a sudden my phone blows up.

Received call from this number showing it was in Selma, AL. It stated that it was an urgent matter with my credit card and to press #1. I knew it had to be a scam, but I still pressed #1. Then I was put in touch with an agent who didn't speak very good English stating that there was a problem with my credit card. I asked what the problem was and she said you are paying too high of an interest. So I asked what card it was. She said it was my Visa or MasterCard...I told her I didn't have one. Then she said it was my Discover or American Express. I told her I didn't have one of them either. So I asked her to tell me what card she wants to verify and I'd be happy to have her lower the interest rate. She hung up.

Picked up call, no one on the other end of course...

Folks these are all scams! No one can lower your credit card rate, specifically if you have to even pay to do it. It's all a scam! They run the numbers looking for old people that trust this stuff. Charging huge fees to do this!I suspect this number will be shut down as all of these complaints are from today. Once they call the wrong number they just get another number and they are off and running to scam someone else.

Automated message claiming urgent matter with my interest rate on my credit card. Said to hit "1" to continue. My phone showed it was from Alabama, but that may be ID spoofing. It's some sort of scam.

Same as above , it chaps my a*s because I Have family in Alabama.
