Just received a call from this number - my call i.d. also showed it was coming from New York. Answered on third ring but no one was on the line.
Exactly, and there are so many fools who still believe that government will be there to protect them. Instead, they should realize that gov. is self serving. You, as an honest person, should protect yourself from scammers and criminals.
Call at 12:30 pm on a Saturday (May 2nd 2015). Caller ID simply said New York NY and displayed the number. I picked up the phone and answered; there was no response; I waited 20 or 30 seconds, then hung up. I thought this was most likely a robo-screen to identify active telephone numbers for future scamming; I find several other postings by people identifying this as the number of origin for a credit-card identity theft scam
I have gotten 5 calls and they never speak! This is my work line and it's getting really irritating!!!
3/6/2015 Rec'd a phone call from 347-916-3605 at 12:12 pm. Comes up as Local call. It is NOT a local call. 347 area code is out of NY.

Saying postal redelivery unit when called. What?
I didn't accept the call and they did not leave any voice message
I answered this one out of curiosity as I usually don't answer calls from numbers I don't know. Another annoying robocall. This time claiming to be calling from Medicare.
Would give it zero stars if I could.
Because I didn't know who the caller was, I sent it to voicemail. The caller did not leave a message and hung up. I assumed it was another robo call and when I checked this site my assumption was confirmed.
