Today, I had 4 consecutive calls from this number on my landline that I use for work.The first two which I missed were at 4:27pm and 4:31pm. I got a call at 4:55pm from the same number and answered. The background was very noisy and sounded like a call center. A woman with a heavy Indian accent asked how I was doing. She said that my number and name were selected to receive a grant and that I do not have to provide anything like a bank account number or social security number over the phone to receive this.She said she had some questions to find out if I was eligible and the first was whether I had a high school diploma or GED. I had to go so I hung up. It seemed suspicious. I got another call at 5:37pm from the same number and when I answered I heard a lot of background noise again but the call disconnected.I had 11 consecutive missed calls from 7458653258 and then 7 consecutive missed calls from 8569874125 today as well.I'm in Texas in an area that was affected by Hurricane Harvey and yesterday was the first day that I had phone service back. I'm wondering if there are scammers out there trying to take advantage of the storm situation by robocalling numbers in the area.

The call is not only in areas affected by Harvey - I got the same call at 6:47 this morning in the FL panhandle. Same noise and heavy accent, and she said my name which I hardly recognized. Hung up then.

Same thing happened to me if I block it they call from another number I don't know how to get them to leave me alone
