210-401-8006 is another number con artists call from. i reversed it and found out it came from new jersy and then i looked furthe and it also comes from san antonio tx. im so tired of them, but they said i owe money that i never asked for. and when i found out more about them now i call them and just harrass the [***] out of. oh well it makes me fell better. lol. dam scammers

these illegal calls are intended to get around STATE laws where PAYDAY loans are BANNED. They count on the ignorance of the consumer they are targeting!These companies KNOW they cannot loan in these states - but continue to operate illegally. Fortunately even if you did receive a loan from them - it was illegal to begin with - so they also CANNOT COLLECT on those illegal loans either!High cost payday loans are illegal in 16 states. As of the end of 2008, the following states outlaw these very expensive loans: Arizona Arkansas Connecticut Georgia Maine Maryland Massachusetts New Hampshire New Jersey New York North Carolina Ohio Oregon Pennsylvania Vermont West VirginiaPayday loans are also illegal in the District of Columbia, the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. In addition, Congress banned payday lending to service members and their families.

I started getting calls from these guys 2 days ago, and after telling them I was going to be trotting them to the FCC and Verizon, as well as filing a formal complaint with the police and initiating a lawsuit, they left me alone for an entire day, then tonight I got this call. What can be done to get rid of them? It's disgusting that these scam artists get away with this crap!

I got a call from this number on my cellphone today. I am registered with the "Do Not Call" registry too. Left no message.

Got a call from this number today. This is a different number from the one from 405 and 910 area code that have called me but it is the same ruse in every case. All of the unsolicited calls from these folks should be added to your blocked calls on cell phone or home phone. Someone needs to investigate and see who has been selling " Do Not Call Registry" numbers to these companies or individuals who insist on trying to scam or illegally solicit people.

Just to give you guys a little information on these guys, they are in fact a scam. They are currently being investigated by the FBI Fraud in my state. A co-worker of mine has been getting harassing calls at work from these people. They call from another number with a 646-808-3083 number. The gentlemen that calls now states that he is Officer Brown. He will initially call and state that he is calling about this or that, and then he will tell you it's about a payday loan and that he is going to send someone out to arrest you. It's all a scam and he isn't actually going to do anything. He is a pest and will continue to harass, but just report him to your local FBI office. The more people that do, the more information they have to go on.It's sad that these guys prey on those that can't really afford to pay this money out. I have been dealing with this stuff from other "Fake Companies" for over a year now. I made the mistake of paying money out because of all the information they had on me. It's scary to think how easy it is for someone to get your information.Several of us have also made this into a game with this guy because he is dirty and says some very nasty things. We are calling him back with a blocked number and telling him how we are going to harass him like he does us. We don't tell him who we are or any information, only that we are going to give him a taste of what he is dishing out. It's actually quite comical because he gets mad and hangs up on you. He tells you that you are messing with his business and why would you do that. Our answer is because you find it ok to do this to us. He calls my co-worker several times a day at work even though we originally told him that she can not get these calls at work and to only contact her on her personal number. We also have told him that she no longer works there!! He doesn't care. He starts cussing at you and so forth. We decided to give him a taste back and he's not too happy about it.

No message left, i'm calling my provider to see if they can block the calls... Calling during peak hours and from who know where. I just don't answer, but there could still some type of charge from my provider
