I don't want ANY calls from ads. I pay for my phone.

I use AT&T. They have call blocking for residential phones. Go to their webpages under support to see details. If this number calls again I will use blocking to answer them. (It gives them back a prerecorded message.) I saw one other person here who could do the same thing with Verizon. Maybe all carriers offer this?

You should probably answer "FTC" (Federal Trade Commission)- I think they'd be much more interested in these types of phone calls and are much more capable of protecting people and preventing fraud via telephone.

Called once, no message. Called back an hour later. They asked me if I was diabetic and then asked me if I was a Senior Citizen. Then they thanked me and hung up.

These people keep calling me and will not listen when I try to tell them they have the wrong number. They are rude and just hand up. So their calls continue to harrass, wake me up when I nap, I am older and have trouble sleeping. I wish there were a way to get these people to stop but it seems no one out there can help. What a pity!

Didn't recognize the number, so I did not answer. It wasn't important enough for them to leave a message. I save myself a lot of aggrivation that way.
