you couldn't be more incorrect about your organization gladly removing the phone calling info of one of your victims from your calling list. "proof is in the pudding" as they say. i have spent a number of years asking every single telemarketer that calls my office to remove my calling information from their list and not a single one has ever done it. (although they graciously agree to do so). they also feed me the ignorant line that it will take up to 30 days to remove my info from their list and that i may receive additional calls during that time. i don't swallow that line either. groups like yours must think there are nothing but total idiots out here in this world if you think we believe anything you say. we live in a world of major technology and it changes more often than you change your clothing. all it takes is one click of the "delete" key (less than a nano second) to accomplish one simple task with the computer. since i have never encountered a kind, courteous telemarketer in 18 years of being in business and not a single one of them could tell the truth if their life depended upon it, i simply don't answer any calls from out of state callers, 800 series phone numbers, out of area callers or unavailable callers etc. if they are truly calling me to conduct business with me (my specific type of business) they will leave a message and i will call them back. so far, none of them leave a message so...conclusion is that they are all telemarketers wasting their time calling my business. it would serve them very well if after calling several times and getting the same response from us (no answer) to remove that number from their calling list but they are so ignorant they don't seem to get the message. they keep calling. dumb as dirt. by the way...i don't have employees so i am exempt from being required to have compliance posters. even telling your organization that didn't stop them from calling repeatedly. so don't stand up here trying to defend the ignorant actions of your company when we know better. i agree with the posting of another victim that telemarketers need to get a real, worthy job. why would any business need to purchase an item detailing required postings? if they really wanted something like that, it would take very little time to create their own at a small fraction of a cost that your organization would sell it to them for. the required posters provide all the information necessary to any employee that wants it. if they want more....they can seek it out on their own using their own computer or telephone call to the proper authority. if i had employees, and they asked me for additional information on a subject covered by the required posters i would point out to them they can obtain additoinal information by calling the phone number listed on the poster or looking it up on the internet. as an employer i am not required to provide any further information than is legally required to be posted. i am required to comply with the law not answer questions about it.
Instead of answering, push the talk button and set your phone in front of a TV or somethingas loud and obnoxious as the telemarketer. It usually only takes 2 o3 three times for the calls to end. These guys are now on my list for that.
They have called our office everyday this week and ask to talk to the person "in charge of employees"- always say no one is in can I take a message--they always say they'll call back.We here at the office are going to start saying ""Oh, you need to talk to Candi please hold"" And we're leaving them on hold..Of course no one here is named Candi.
Bull crap! You call and no one is on the line, then call back again. People that are trying to run a business not deal with "free" stuff and BS calls. How about if you send the stuff to ppl if it's free then call them. Time is money and my time is better spent dealing with MY paying customers.
We have had calls from this outfit everyday for at least a week. We never answer. I think if they call again, I'll see if they want to talk to the safety person for my business, and just tell them the truth, that I no longer have a business. We'll see if that helps. And we won't be getting a DISH from anyone.
Well if you guys would actually speak when you call then we may ask to be put on the DNC list. The company is obviously not so ligite if you cannot identify who you are.....
