Sorry for the typo! (Correction) Called a friend of mine stating they were MicroSoft Tech Support...YEAH RIGHT!!! I explained to him, they would call you from a toll free #...such as 800 / 888...Do Not Give Them Any of Your Information!!!
I just received a call about 17 min ago. guy with accent told me that he was with tech support and that he received an error from my computer. he asked if my computer was turned on right now. i explained that i work in a federal office and that if there was an error, we have and IT department. He said "ok, thank you. bye" and hung up. I tried calling back and the call didnt go through.
Rec'd call 1:37 pm - George with an Indian accent told me he was calling from Microsoft, I hung up before I could hear more.
Person initially claimed to be from Microsoft, and had a thick Indian accent. The more I questioned him, the more aggressive the person got and continued trying to pursue administrative access into one of my employee's computers. I eventually hung up on the person.
I also received a call from a man with a thick Indian accent wanting to "help" me fix the problems with our Microsoft Windows program. I probably wasted my time giving him a piece of my mind about it. I wasn't going to get on the computer.
Just called me but I let it go to VM - its from Serbia - check your phone bill it may put a big charge on it if you answer it

Won’t give up I never answer but they keep dialing it up. Irritating, say it’s debt collection and city says Dallas.
